Why Sicily?
The short answer is, why not! We have had Italy on our travel bucket list for years now, and we figured, why not take a vacation and get married while doing it? We chose Sicily over other locations in Italy due to it's unique history and laid-back appeal.
What’s the dress code?
The dress code is formal. Please see “The Day” page for more details.
Do you have a wedding registry?
We are so grateful for your willingness to join our celebration in Italy. We recognize that traveling to our wedding is a significant commitment, and we want to emphasize that no further gifts are expected or necessary.
However, for those who have expressed a desire to celebrate with a gift, we have established a honeymoon registry, which can be found here.
How do I get to Sicily?
Most major cities in the US have indirect flights to Sicily, with layovers commonly in Germany, Rome, or Paris. The closest airport to our venue is Catania. Please visit our Travel page for more details, or reach out to us directly if you need help finding the best flight option for you.
How can I inform you of any dietary requirements?
Please share any dietary requirements in the notes section of the RSVP page.
Will I require a car?
Sicily is best explored by car. We suggest renting one to make your travels more convenient. However, it is not necessary with public transport options to the main cities including Syracuse. For the wedding day, Transport services will be provided from the listed accommodation options on our "stay" page.
Do I get a plus one?
Your invitation will specify if you have a plus one included. Unfortunately, due to venue restriction, we are limited on the number of guests we can have at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding.
What will the weather be like?
It will be hot! Temperatures in Sicily during June are typically in the low- to mid-80s. Our ceremony will start later in the day to keep everyone as cool as possible, but please plan for the heat accordingly.
Are children welcome?
We respectfully request that little ones do not attend, however we will be offering babysitting services onsite for those with children. Please indicate interest in your RSVP.
What if I need help finding accommodation?
Please visit our Stay page, and be sure to add your accommodation to your RSVP so we can arrange suitable shuttle services for guests for the wedding events.
Can I park onsite if I have a car?
The venue does have some parking (~10 spots), so you are able to park on-site if needed.
